Well, there weren't a lot of people left. That gave landlords less workers. Land owners were desperate to find peasants to work their fields. Peasants demanded better wages and lower rents. If the landlord didn't comply then the peasant would move to a town where he would be a freeman. Some peasants revolted and set fire to the manor house. If the lord did as the peasant asked then he would get peasants and risk going bankrupt. Among the lords there was competition for workers and peasants would wander looking for who could offer the highest wage. During this time period, peasants lived a better life standard. They ate less bread and more meat, they had bigger houses and even dressed in colored clothing!
The mental state of children also was altered. The kids who had survived had been exposed to public nudity, craziness and gruesome death.
It was all a pretty disturbing situation...

After the Black Death the population was a lot smaller because of all the deaths. This changed a lot of things, there were less farmers farming the land so more people got a job and there was a lot of shifting around in the social class of many people because there were people missing from different classes all over the place.
