The role of women has changed quite a bit over the past 50 years, for example, in the 1900’s, women were not known for to have high rank jobs or work full time at all. They were the ones who did the cooking, cleaning, and the ones who took care of the children. Women didn’t really start having jobs that paid until the 1920’s – 1930’s. Some people say some changes over the years, maybe aren’t for the better, e.g, women nowadays find they have to work instead of staying at home with the children because of finances etc.
