Well I suppose that comes down to personal tastes. I'd love to go to both Coachella and SXSW, but if I had to choose I would prefer to go to Coachella - especially due to this year's (2013) lineup!
Coachella Vs SXSW
SXSW looks like an awesome festival to go to, the festival completely invades the streets of Austin, Texas and this gives the festival it's unique feel. SXSW is also a lot more than just a normal music festival, it also has film screenings, tech conferences and loads of parties! All of these aspects of the festival overlap to give any festival-goer a very unique experience.
Coachella on the other hand is a much more conventional music festival - except that it takes place in Coachella valley, California, a pretty awesome location! Not only is it a huge festival, this year's lineup is especially good.
The acts I would love to see at Coachella 2013 would be:
- The Stone Roses.
- Blur.
- Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
- Lou Reed.
- Metric.
- Johnny Marr.
- FOALS.
- The XX.
- New Order.
- Tame Impala.
- Dinosaur Jr.
