If you are talking about the famous Michael Jordan that we know who is a basketball player then he is not dead, he is alive and healthy. He was born on 17th February of 1963 and will turn 45 years old on the 17th of February. He first gave his retirement in 1993 but he returned to the game in 1995 but he finally left in 1999 only to return again in the 2001 season that was marked by a lot of injuries for Jordan. The six foot six inches athlete is currently retired but he is still alive and active in the NBA and business activities.

His Father was killed in 1987 LONG before he even considered retirement.! The man is the best example of what a healthy 47 year old man should look like hell he is healthy and athletic for a 25 year old.  Daniel Green Shot James Jordan point blank in the chest and rifled thru his pockets and wallet and stole a watch that to "to dad from Michael and Juanita" Then said to his partner I think we just shot Michael Jordans father. Jordan, 56, who had pulled off to the side of U.S. 74 near Lumberton, died on July 23, 1993. The body was found Aug. 3, dumped in Gum Swamp on the North Carolina-South Carolina border.    HIS FIRST RETIREMENT WAS IN 1994 IT DIDNT FEEL RIGHT NOT HAVING DAD WATCH AND HE REALIZED HIS HEART NEEDED BASKETBALL HE CAME BACK AND WON 3 MORE TITLES HE WON ANOTHER 3PEAT IN 1997! I OWN THE 6 PEAT TITLE HAT AND SHIRT I WAS AM AND ALWAYS WILL BE A BULLS FAN BUT I WORSHIP MICHAEL JORDAN AND EVEN HIS WIFE JUANITA! I LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM , AND WE HAVE THE WHITE SOX MINOR TEAM HERE I WATCHED HIM PLAY. AND HE KICKED AT THAT!  Who ever said he retired in 1991 he was 28 in 91. He didnt retire in 1991 he didnt win the first title till 90-91 THEN 1990-1991, 1991-1992, 1992-1993, 1995-1996, 1996-1997, 1997-1998  I'll put any money on it if you want to stand by those falsities you posted, If you were a real fan youd know those things! If you had sense my 8 year old does you could Wiki all of the correct answers instead of your butt thinking for you

DUDE his first retirement was 1994 his father James was Shot July 23 1993, I think your confusing your facts his first NBA title was 1991. He was 27&28 during the 90-91 season. He was only 6 years into the league was was whooping A@@ in 84-85 season(his rookie season) the next year he broke his foot and was out the season but made it back for the playoffs and scored 63 points against the POWERHOUSE 85-86 celtics! 90-91 was only his 5th season why would he retire? 91 was the HEIGHT of his career

He couldnt be touched! In 1982 he made the game winning shot in the NCAA championships against georgetown Hoya's LED by His NBA RIVAL Patrick Ewing. He was so good Isiah Thomas led a "lockout" where they refused to pass MJ the ball in the all-star game, cause they were fed up with the amount of attention he was getting! He killed offensively and defense. He tried out for varsity in 10th grade but too short and worked hard that summer and by chance grew 4 inches and wowed crowds in 11&12th grades
