It's not easy, Spunky. It takes time. My son died a few weeks before Christmas, 1996. There wasn't much merriment that year. But as time goes by you adjust. You don't love any less, you don't forget, but you learn to cope.
I'm sorry you had to ask this question. I hope you're able to come to terms with your loss. It will get easier as time passes.
