It was important to us when the kids were all living at home. Now it's just an excuse to over-eat. >:-/
Is Christmas just another holiday to you? It is to me, so that's why I'm asking.
I don't care about the presents, but I like getting to reconnect with friends and family.
My friends get together in Christmas eve to play football. We meet at noon at the high school We have been doing so since I was a sophmore, so that makes this the 38th year. It was started by the cross country team, so the current high school team plays as well. (It helps that my brother is now the coach.)
I moved back home a year and a half ago so I can see most of my family whenever, but work schedules can make that tricky. Plus some have moved away so they come home and I can get a quick visit in.
