Do you think that Cuba will give up communism now that the U.S. is trying to re-establish relations?

Yes. They have been doing so for many years now. Ever since the USSR failed, Cuba has had to rely on tourism, and tourists have been tipping the people they contact. I think this causes problems with the people who do not work with or for the tourists. In 2006 I visited what was supposed to be the first private coffee vendor allowed by the government. He worked for himself and was not paid by the government.

I think they'll play it like China ... Holding on to communism as long as they can, while integrating limited capitalism.

After all, the elites under communism aren't going to want to give up power - and unless THEY can gain power under capitalism, they'll try to limit anyone else from doing so.
