You can reorder a stamped birth certificate at any time. I have reordered mine several times and it's amazing how they show up so different looking depending on the technology. At first it was filled out by a typewriter and then I had one that was from microfilm my parents had got a one point, then a few years ago it was from laser printer. Then for my own children I ordered several copies at different times for when they needed them for themselves when they turned adults.
