My answer would be the place that I'm currently living in.

One of the oddest questions I was asked at the end of a survey that I participated in whilst waiting for my baggage at Heathrow Airport was "Where is your primary place of residence?"

I suddenly had to choose between Los Angeles, Bedfordshire and Belfast.

Quick maths made me (even if only temporarily) an American resident.  For someone so English, it was a bit of a shock.

I have both American and Australian passports, but since I've lived in Australia my whole life, and I've only been to the US twice, I say that I'm Australian.

That question usually comes up within a certain context and that usually influences my answer.
