I know a guy named Earl. He's a manager at a local equipment rental business. He's a nice guy. I guess I like Donald Duck. I think Daffy is funnier.

Donald Duck is unfortunate Cockney rhyming slang here in the UK.

Donald Duck tastes good when roasted in a nice orange sauce.
I am a Mormaer, which is the Scottish equivalent to an English Earl. I'm the provincial ruler of my property in Scotland, all one square foot of it.

Oh! I was going to buy a square foot of property at a Scottish estate for my dad, but it was sold out!

I bought mine and a few for gifts about 10 years ago. It's totally useless but a lot of fun at the same time.

Aw, Otis...

My father's name was Earl!

Earl Edson Hoyt...one of the wonderful fathers of all time. Last May 28, would have been his 105th birthday.

When I was a kid our garbage man was named Earl. He was a nice guy, but he didn't like our dog.

As for Donald Duck he is ok. Not the favorite Disney character in our house. My husband's name is Donald and his other brother teased him with Donald Duck jokes his whole childhood. To get revenge when Don' daughter met her uncle for the first time she was introduced to Uncle Duck. (She was 2 before she met him, because my husband was stationed overseas.) She still calls him that. It was my husband's revenge.
