blm needs to look at black on black shootings. Then the crime rate which mostly done by ignorant young black men. If i created white life matters its racist if i created a united white kid scholarship fund thats racisist . But the blacks create the racism then cry about it.

Because your white

That's why there in jail to begin with -
And they treat there own
The same on the outside
If it benefits them -
We all are human -
Not in prison-

Unfortunately like many groups that start out with moral and ethical intentions the original BLM group was vary quickly usurped by much more radical racist individuals and has become the exact opposite of what it had intended. Many violent individuals are coasting on their coat tails shooting at police and others in the name of BLM.

I've seen the BLM portray their movement incorrectly, so I'm going to provide a better one.

It's like being in a restaurant and having a horrible waiter. The waiter doesn't like anyone, regardless of race. The other waiters are fine; it's just that one. The waiter is rude and disrespectful to all the diners.

A group is sitting at a table. The group contains (the other members are irrelevant) a black person. This person sees the waiter being rude to all the other diners. When the waiter comes to their table and starts being rude and obnoxious, the black diner stands up and says "You're a racist. You're treating me like this because I'm black."

It's very ignorant. The issue here is with the waiter, but the black diner says the issue is that the waiter is racist.

Just like in reality. The issue is with police brutality; there are bad officers who take advantage of their positions. There are tons of Hispanics/Latinos who are also killed because of police brutality. Tons of whites who are also killed. And yet the BLM thinks it's happening to them because of their skin color.

I don't know enough about the group itself, but it seems like there is more violence than peace. The goal shouldn't be to flame everyone up but to work together for a solution.

Whenever I hear about BLM, I think of Martin Luther King, Jr. and wonder what his response would be - what he would do in these particular situations.

From what I've read on FB, and seen on TV, it's the Police that's flaming the violence to stop peaceful people BLM from uniting to stop the police from murdering black men women and children. I wish all would stop and we all could live in peace. Perhaps fight ISIS.

Love what I hear. Especially on FB and National news stations. African-Americans-Blacks-Whites in a legal united effort to stop illegal profiling and the police from continuing to murder unarmed Black men, women and children.

BLM said all lives matter. We're (they) (not me) (I'm quoting) (I'm not a part of any movement) just saying with the Police it's different.

They post a lot of FB.

I think " All lives matters " not just blacks.

Once upon a time this movement started to defend the racism behaviors toward black people by the whites. Now everything has changed. It's not about defending black rights as any human rights anymore to end this narrow minded philosophy as Martin Luther King Jr wished to be.it's about slaughter white and repeat every single moment of this racism history. If we don't stop this now, 100 years from now it'll be "White lives matters " cause white going to be vanished by blacks. However, i assume we need White lives matter already to defend ourselves against those group of angry blacks.

"Black lives matter" does not imply "all lives don't matter", any more than a dog shelter implies cats don't matter.

Until the majority of people get this through their thick skulls, it will always be misunderstood.

That said, BLM often disrupts events that would otherwise be on their side, doing themselves no favors. What could be a useful movement against police brutality is often just a ploy for attention, like many "movements".

On FB they said it's the Police that's flaming the violence and trying to end them. Because they are tired of the Police murdering unarmed black men, women and children and claiming it their in fear of their lives.

Jan, if it is the police, than why have they shown up a political rallies, such as a Bernie Sanders' speech just to disrupt it? http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/black-lives-matter-activists-disrupt-bernie-sanders-speech-n406546
Or Hillary Clinton? http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/30/politics/hillary-clinton-black-lives-matter/index.html

I think as with any group most just want a peaceful dialog to find a solution. However, also with any group, you have those that take things too far.

It's at least as true as the phrase: "Human noses are important."

It just doesn't seem to provide much in the way of either insight or value.
