I tend not to worry about it. If something happens, it's going to happen. Then our fearless leader has another excuse to make another idiotic speech. That's what they want ! To make everyone afraid. Sorry, but I'm still going to go to games and such anyway. I feel as safe as I've ever been.

You can't allow that to ruin your enjoyment of life .. Even though it is always a concern.  A lot of what terrorists do is play mind games.  If we're afraid all the time because of what might happen .. They win.

Funny you should ask! I feel the same way. The last BIG outing we went to was right after the San Bernardino attacks and we saw the movie Star Wars. The theater was packed full of people.... Including all four of my kids and my husband. Needless to say, I did not watch the movie. I watched the people. I stood most of the time with the stroller but my husband had a place picked out for me two seats from him if Jr decided he wanted his own seat. Well some fidgety man walked in in the middle of the movie and sat in my spot! I watched him like a hawk first of all, cuz that was my seat! Second of all cuz my daughters were sitting in front of him and he kept snorting and coughing all over the back of their heads! I swore I kept seeing him fidget in his pocket which pissed me off even more! Then my husband looked at me and said "what's up with him?" I said I don't know but I am watching him like a hawk! My husband said "Don't worry Yin, I got this." And he innocently continued to watch the movie....... About ten minutes I had to put up with the fidgety guy then he gagged, got up and left the theater........ Mr. Pepe Le Pew aka Yang cleared my seat for me and calmed my nerves!!! My hero!!! :0)

Anyways, it got me thinking, there was a time when what I worried about in theaters was sitting in a wad of gum or ahem (coughs) you know evidence of amorous previous movie goers.... Or I worried about a knife fight or cheaters getting caught. Now those things don't even cross my mind. I worry about worse things now.

I pray 📖 or give thanks💛 before I leave my home, in my car and while I'm out and upon returning. In other words, whatever happens I will be in GOD's grace if I  live or die.

😳😔😳  all these senseless killings, violence and murders😔😔

 I'm very sad😔😳😔😳.

That's very sad Otis. You're allowing the "bad guys" to control you. You're a great person and deserve better than to limit your life like that.

Hi Barb, I refuse to let violence dictate my life.
Hi Otis, it's your choice. I won't let hate stop me. I will continue to pray.

Truthfully speaking I believe I could handle a terrorist attack better than a "mob without a brain".  Once in my travels I was in a mall in the capital city of a South American country. Four teenage girls lit a small trash can on fire then ran through the mall yelling fire. The panic that ensued caused three deaths and 250 injuries.

This is exactly what these Terrorists want people to do but we cant live life in fear of something happening as it may never happen. Just live your life as you do everyday but be aware of your surroundings just in case and always have a plan too but don't let these Terrorists control your life as anything can always happen at anytime and expect the unexpected and youll always be prepared and never be disappointed if something happens. Good luck

Once they prevent you from doing things you're meant to do, they've already won against you.

You are more protected in the US then you will ever know. Earlier this week a parking garage at Universal Studios was evacuated because of a suspicious package. Do you know who found the package? An explosive sniffing dog and handler that are employed by Universal. You are more protected than you will  ever know.

I am not going to let some (Bleep!) dictate how I live. I am not going to give up doing anything I enjoy doing. I have always been aware of my surroundings. That is something I had to learn quick and young. Back in the good old days when children could walk the streets, someone tried to abduct me. There has always been a bad element to life. You cannot let them win.
