For me it is something else...the events I like best seem to be the solstices and the equinoxes. I like to figure them out as Earth shifts in relation to the sun, in my own way I even celebrate them.
These all are my favorite. But I love the Halloween and Christmas the most. All these gives a chance to celebrate with family and close friends. Moreover, these occassions bring happiness, peace, cheer and fun in our lives.
My favourite is Christmas, because I get to spend the day with my family and have a good time with them :)

Sonikku! It will have to be Diwali, the festival of lights. Where I am, it’s an
ancestral custom and it is hence celebrated with much respect and joy. We will
normally decorate the house and yard with lamps, cook all sorts of sweets and
share them with neighbours and family members. It’s so much fun!
