Its national relaxation day and national lemon merIngue pie day. So is this your day?

It's a perfect day for me. I'll sit in my recliner, relax and eat a whole lemon meringue pie. Of course I'll have to wash the pie down with a gallon of coffee.

Nope. Sorry Otis, it's not my day . I don't like lemon meringue pie and I'm putting a scratch coat on a house for stone veneer.

Growing up lemon meringue pie was my favorite pie. If it wasn't so hot today I'd consider having a slice. No relaxing today, I'm off to volunteer and then run a few errands.

I have to weed-eat the back yard today and then I'll relax but I sure would love some Lemon Meringue pie !

Today is one of Yang's doctors appointments and then I head off to life group. I relaxed this morning. Does that count??? :0)

I will take a lick of the lemon meringue pie. LOL!

Yes I can appreciate both of those very well today.

Had I known before I got to work, I could have come up with some "Illness" so that I could stay home and lounge by the pool . . . . With a slice of Lemon Meringue Pie of course . . .

Sometimes I sleep too late and don't have time for my morning nap--and that makes me sad.

And sometimes I don't realize what I should be celebrating today until I read your daily question.

Fortunately, it is not too late to stop what I am doing and celebrate both relaxation and lemon meringue pie.

I am not getting to relax too much today. My husband went to the dentist this morning for a crown. He gets anxious so they put him in lala-land. He is now home and sleeping it off. The pups are not happy that they can't see him. They want him to get up to go outside and play. Apparently I am not good enough to play with.

I'll relax while I have a slice of lemon meringue pie.
