Every so often my birthday falls on Memorial Day. On the years that it didn't, there would be free pizza and your choice of free ice cream or free beer nationwide.

No one wants another holiday around my birthday. It falls between Martin Luther King Jr day and Valentines day. And President's day is just after that. Plus everyone is still recovering from Christmas and the New Year. So I would  say the best way to celebrate would be to relax and do nothing.

Considering what a "foodie" I am, it would probably be a big potluck with all kinds of food .... And a little wine.  :)

Hello Roy! Wow, it would have been such a privilege to have a national holiday for my birthday! I would have loved to celebrate it very differently. By this, I mean to get folks to do things that will benefit each other, but most importantly those who need help the most. I’d call it national humanitarian day!

Since mine is around tax day I would make it a tax free holiday every other year. Could not make it every year or the country would go beoke faster than it is now.
