In Gothenburg Ne, there is still a working Pony Express postoffice. You can have your mail stamped with the official Pony Express stamp, place your mail in a saddlebag hanging on the door. It’s picked each afternoon. Once a year they make the 1800 mile ride on horses just like they did in the 1860. The route is from St Joseph MO to Sacramento CA in 10 days. Very neat!!

My brother in law and nephew live in Nebraska! ☺
