The country, People’s Republic of China is a country with a rich culture and history. The country gained independence on October 1st, in the year 1949 after the Chinese civil war in which Mao Zedong, the leader of the communist party gained control over most of the territories that were a part of mainland chine. When it came into being, it was a socialist country but later on in the era of 1970’s the government of china became a representative democratic system. This year the country will celebrate its 60th birthday.
