I hate them too! Its only another day what I do is just act as a normal day I do what I normally do. I wake up have breakfast go for a jog (but on my birthday I go for an extra long jog) then when I get home I just vedge out and when it comes to presents I say thanks and then remind them not to get me anything next year. Sorry if this doesn't help..

Well, you can go to the movies all day and watch a dozen films, you might come out with square eyes and slightly wonky vision, but it's a great way to forget the world and since your phone will be off all day, you won't need to worry about people texting or phoning you to wish you a happy birthday.

If you've a special person in your life, warn them that you do not like birthdays and that you do not want to celebrate it, it's natural for them to want to do something special.

Take that person out for food, you pay and get them a present, it's amazing reverse psychology and you will feel great for doing it too!

Lastly, why do you hate birthdays so much, it does not mean much at all really. It means you are year older, does this upset you, learn to live with it!

I couldn't care $0.02 about my birthday either.  The other days are such a hassle for me that I go totally "George Bailey" and some days wish I'd NEVER been born.  I won't go that far with it though, but I still don't make a big deal about my birthday.  Keep the cake, presents, singing, phone calls, and the fake / phony shout-outs.  Birthday "lovin" is cool, but I guess if I can't get romance any other day of the year, then I REALLY have problems.  ;o)  Anyways, I'm not too fond of my b-day simply because I feel that another year goes by and I still haven't accomplished what I want with my life.  It just feels like a giant Big Ben clock constantly ticking away in the background of my life, reminding me that time keeps slipping away, and what am I really doing with it all.  Sorry, I don't mean to sound hopeless or bring anyone else down with what I'm saying, but these questions constantly tap me on the shoulder.  For those who sincerely enjoy celebrating their birthdays, more power to you, have fun, and don't let me or anyone else tell you any different.  Yet, for myself, just make mine another normal day.  Peace (John 14:27).

I don't like my birthday either.  Well not that I don't like it, I'm just not the kind of person to make a big hooplah about it.  My wife ask me what I want to do and each time I tell her "please, I don't wish to do anything.  I just want to make it a normal day."  Needless to say she cannot grasp that concept and insist that we do something because, well she wants to do something for me.  I try to persuade her that I don't want anything but she just wont accept it.  So for now I just go out by myself and just relax.  I go have a drink, watch a movie or chill at the bookstore.  Its my day and I should decide what I want to do with it.

How about this....I probally hate my birthday the most.   Just like the other's I could care less...it is just another day.   But I just want to be a mother.  My birthday May 9th frequently falls on Mother's day.   I had a miscarriage on my birthday on mother's day.   So now I can't have kids.   You tell me do I have the worst birthday misfortune ever.   Birthday's SUCK

I think the idea about close your phone I did it before it's great stay alone and calculate what did you do last year? And what you SHOULD do and acheive next year on paper and type them down and put it in your desk and read it everyday if you can and next birthday remmember to read it and say did you acheive them? If you so

Well, if you don't want to celebrate the best thing that strikes me spending the day with some physically challenged children in some charity.
