Spending money over-seas when our own country is in a recession is a great way to help add to the cause of creating a depression. Unless spending money over-seas can some how eventually create profits like an investment would; but without any good possibilities of making a profit, it is basically like giving away free money. Hopefully the country getting money spent on them will some day decide be thankful and give back. But if the country is angry for involvement, then chances are slim; if not possibly could be a very negative way of repayment.
