L have no idea of how old you are but l still like to know where in the he-l did you come up with crazy idea of that question. The North occupied the South for 16 years. A union General was made Governor of each state. All the other government offices blacks were put in charge. You are aware that is was againt the law to educate blacks in the South. Now knowing all this l am sure you can see how poor and border line stupid the question is. Please do not get upset because the blame is on the teachers who taught you this junk and this has nothing to do with you. But hopefully you will learn to check things out for yourself rather then believing some bias person who is trying to change history.
