Its said that she died because she had small pox or pneumonia. Pocahontas died In March 1617. She died on her way to virginia and was berried in a churchyard in Gravesend, England. She was 22 years old.

Is believed that she got ill on a ship on her way to Virginia in 1617 of pneumonia or tuberculosis, but did not make it far.  She was taken ashore where she died  in Gravesend, England. Survived by her husband john Rolfe and son Thomas Rolfe.

Pocahontas died in Europe , she became sick and died on foreign soil and there is a statue of her likeness in the town where she lived, sorry can't remember the name

Pocahontas, who saved John Smith, died on her way to Virginia in 1617, when she was 21. There is not much information about it, but doctors think it is from pneumonia , tuberculosis, small pox, or giving birth to a child.
