The Democratic management style encourages the participation of the subordinates in management decisions and the work and tasks are delegated frequently, that is, subordinates are given responsibility and are encouraged to participate with the management. This management style helps in the employee motivation as they get to participate.
In the laissez-faire management style, the employees are given complete freedom to make decisions and do what they want. There is no delegation or assignment of tasks by the management.
