Concurrent powers are shared by the federal and state governments, like police, prisons, health, environment, lawmaking, maintain roads, collecting taxes, parks, etc.  I found a site that listed it more concisely:
-the power to tax
-the power to have a military (national guard)
-the power to legally adjudicate disputes in courts of law
-the power to convict people of crimes and hold them in jail
-the power to build and maintain roads
-the power to hold elections
