Bunny's or Rabbits do not cook either so just as Santa Clause and his eight tiny reindeer fly all over the world on Christmas eve and deliver toys to all the good little girl and boys and the tooth-fairy leaving money are use to not only teach children about a topic it is also a way to elicit a desired interest, responsiveness and behavior from children in order to make them interested, explain a situation and teach them about a topic. Control is another area that enters the equation.
Easter lines up with a spring time concept, a pagen spring time thought, but basically the christians needed a way to tie easter in with pagan beliefs. This is because , many of the early christians were converts from paganism. The egg symbolizes fertility, a major value during the era of the times. Now my question would be ...where does the bunny play into this whole thing. The eggs, and their fertility, I understand....but the bunny?
Many holidays adopted peagan beliefs such as the christmas tree!

It's just a childern's fairy tale silly
Eggs and rabbits are fertility symbols for pagan spring rebirth celebrations. The early christians commandeered many pagan symbols and holidays to convert the "heathens". In the end, it appears the christian religion was the one more changed than the others.
Because it doesn't matter anymore. The more commercial a holiday the more money is made. So that bunny can can anything he wants.
It's to keep em interested and to keep em away from the brutalities of the true events that went down . They don't wanna hear about a man dressed in white getting nailed to a cross. It'll screw with their heads and they'll grow up to become meth heads and serial killers. I say we stick to the bunny story for now.
It doesn;t mater what the answer is. Easter is not about eggs, bunnies, or egg hunts, and little things like that. It's about the man who died for us on the cross. Jesus, Are savior died for everyone and three days later he resurrected. That third day is on April 4 known as Easter
FYI there is no Easter bunny
It's just something that got messed around
