What are some of your favorite things about Russian culture?

I'm Russian so I can answer this question with some authority. Russia has an amazing soul. It takes a while to see it but if you are lucky enough you will get to experience its magic. Hermitage, St. Petersburg,  russian pastries and never ending tea and Russia hospitality are just some of the things to look forward to. :)

You mention that it "might take a while to see" Russia's soul - why do you think that is?

I feel like Russia still gets a bit of a bad wrap in foreign media (I don't know how much of that you think is fair), but there's so many interesting traditions and fascinating youth cultures emerging - I'm really keen to find out more about that!
