If you're given a chance, at what particular event in your past would you go back to? Will you try to change it? And why?

It's difficult to say to be honest. There are definitely some things I regret doing when I was younger.

But then, if those things hadn't happened, would I find myself in the place I'm in now? With the family and life I currently have?

If I had to pick, I'd probably go back to when I was in high school. I'd try and make more of the opportunities I had back then.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

I totally agree with what you said. I believe that even just a slight change of the past could totally change what you've become and what you currently have.

There are too many to count. I've made many stupid mistakes in my past. However, they have stood as stepping stones for my future so I don't make the same mistake again.

If I pause and reflect on what I'm going through now, I usually remember how I worked it out the last time, what didn't work and what I can try now to have a better outcome.

Yes, our mistakes in the past also make up who we are right now. We just need to accept that yes, we made a wrong move there but what's important is how you pick yourself up. We should learn from them and move on.

That's exactly right.

When I look back on my life, there are a number things that, if I were reading a case history of a stranger, I would suggest not be repeated and / or things be done that weren't and vice versa.

But from looking at it from my perspective, I realize that everything I like about myself is a result of both everything I did and everything that happened to me during my life.

In addition, at almost 70, I also realize what I have become would not have been possible without anything and everything that I have experienced.

I wouldn't change a thing.

I don't think I would go back and change anything. :) I like being able to learn from my mistakes, there are some things I remember that would be so tempting to change xD (Like my first kiss and maybe how I've been handling silence) but I think it's what makes you you, it makes you human ^^
