not* charlie sheen quote, when he was off his rocker on drugs. You know, already im shivering in the morning over the weather here! Id have to be doing physical activities a lot if I were in Alaska. I always think I can stand it, until it comes!

Too many factors to give an answer on how much it will cost. It depends on where in Alaska you want to go and where you want to leave from in New Jersey.  There is also how you want to travel, plane, train, or bus. If you choose train or bus you will need a passport to get through Canada. Try looking at travel sites like Kayak, or Expedia and put in the cities you are leaving from and where you want to go.

I went to Alaska last year and it is very beautiful, it is also a bit chilly. I went in June and the highs were in the 50's and it was damp. I know someone who went in winter to see the Aurora Borealis and it was down right frigid! Something like 20 below. I would love to see it as well but not sure I can stand weather that cold. And that is before the wind chill!

I recommend anyone who can afford to go to do so. My family did a cruise and it was amazing. My grandmother and step-grandfather drove and RV up through Canada and into Alaska. She said it was one of the best trips they had done.
