Who is ready for Thanksgiving?

I was thinking of getting a meal at Dickey's BBQ for my Hound and I for Thanksgiving, so I guess I'm ready any time ! I'm not cooking for myself ! LOL.

I'll have my annual turkey dinner pizza. My local pizza place makes it with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and, if you want it, cranberry sauce. It's da bomb.

I'll be eating at Bob Evans restaurant for Thanksgiving. So I'm ready when they are.

Nope. I will by next week. I'm still deciding on if I'm cooking. If I do, we will have the same menu as is tradition in our home. Everyone has their favorite dish. I just cook and people show up! I spend the day with a steady stream of friends and family, and I feed them. We watch football and fall asleep where we sit. Wake up. Repeat. I'm smiling thinking about it. :D

I'm always ready for a good meal. 

Not even close! I don't even know whose house I am going to or what I may need to bring. I have been so busy with other things.

TV dinner for me

In our area there are two times a year when you cannot get into a restaurant, Mother's Day and Thanksgiving Day. So we always host Thanksgiving Dinner. As in the past I have all the non perishable stuff ready. But I begin cooking Monday night, pies, cookies, this year a birthday cake for the MRS. And all the freezable s.  The bird or birds go in the oven Wednesday night, slow cooking in the oven. When our kids went to college we encouraged them to invite their friends who could not get to their own homes over for dinner. Needless to say the house was packed each year. When the kids moved on my in-laws thought it would be "nice" to come around. Oh give me the college kids any day!
