Has anyone seen that video where that lady walked around New York for at least 10 hours while men were cat calling her? and what is your opinion on cat calling?

I haven't seen it ... But I would question how many hours she had to tape, to compile 10 hours of men "cat calling" her.

Anybody who says the men in the video were rude and horrible, obviously HAVEN'T WATCHED IT.

This woman walked for 10 hours and only managed to get a couple minutes worth of remarks or responses. Some of the responses were a few guys checking her out nonverbally (which isn't bad at all) and the other ones were compliments.

I think there were maybe 1 or 2 guys in that video who actually said something disrespectful. The others either complimented her or wished her a great day.

There were quite a few remarks but the majority of them weren't even disrespectful. They were telling her good morning, and saying hi, and stuff. And did you see the way she looked while she was walking? She looked like she was mad and angry?

I've watched the video myself. And I've also watched responses TO the video. The responses to the video were a lot better at explaining what really happened than the video itself.

Well for one thing, my own mother wouldn't go pushing through people rudely and looking like she was mad at the entire world. For another, if someone told her hi or to have a nice day or complimented her, then she would be a decent enough person to appreciate them simply trying to make her feel better.

Yes, I actually think they were really just saying that. I don't see what the problem with that was.

You seem to be under the delusion, however, that a guy doesn't know what it's like to be harassed in public. Or that I don't know what it's like for someone to slap my butt or something. I do. I've had it happen to me before.

Honestly, it's OBVIOUS that you didn't watch the video.

I think it makes the man who does such a thing appear as he has the social graces and vocabiulary of an ape.
