Social media can be a good way to keep in touch with friends and family. The problem is that some on social media " hide who they really are". It can put someone in danger if they give personal information to a person they only know online. Another risk is becoming addicted and neglecting other responsibilities. One also has to be smart and avoid potential problems by being careful of the reputation they are setting for themselves by the things they post.
