Do you prefer carnivals, festivals, circuses, parades or fairs?

I like fairs and festivals, especially the fairs and festivals with food tastings! Yum!

Festivals are lot's of fun and good entertainment !

Good list!  I'm going with fairs and festivals.  They've both got lots to see and do.  Here's our local fair.  Excellent rock and country music concerts!

I won't attend circuses.  I don't believe in exploiting animals for entertainment and profit.

Fairs and Expos. I had a lot of fun at Houston Women's Expo.

I'm pretty much with Happy, if it was all dog and pony shows, circuses would be ok, but they're not. Dogs and horses are not wild anymore, but many of the animals they use are, and to me that is just wrong. Elephants are self aware as are most of the great apes, along with most species of whale. But not being self aware is no excuse to use animals for entertainment is no excuse. Keeping animals in prison for entertainment is just wrong. So I'm for fairs and festivals, carnivals are a rip off.
