Are they only spoken offensively because it is not your native accent? . . . Be honest.

I actually don't have an accent at all. I just mean any accent I try is so terribly done. The offensive part is a joke at my expense.

Hahahahahahaha!! Sometimes my friends and I do British Day. We just walk around and talk in a British accent all day long. We are so bad at it, but we laugh a lot!

I am one of those people who picks up the accent of where they are very quickly. I have lived in many parts of the country (US) and every time I have moved, I have started talking like i have always lived there. Every now and again I will say a phrase or word unique to a certain area and that accent would come out no matter where I am.  One of those phrases is, "That ain't right!" in a heavy southern accent. People often do a double take when I say it. I don't care, actually I am glad they do. Then they know I am serious.
