Today is the kentucky derby and their mint julip and big hats and today is national home brew day. Have u been to the derby ? Have u any home brew recipes?

I've been to the Derby but then again I live in Louisville.  While lots of Locals go to the Derby on the first Sayirday, it's become to to thought of as a big visitors (many famous people) day.  The Friday before Derby is a race day called the Oaks.  Kinda the opposite of Derby; while many visitors attend Oaks Day, it is generally considered a beautiful race day for locals.  Of course, on 2017 Churchill Downs will be hosting The Breeders Cup, so that will be a mammoth racing year.
