Just wondering... are there people in Finland who are against learning English in their country? Are there some that want to come to the US and learn US English rather than UK English in Finland? I wish I could find a polite answer please....

Where did you get that? Just because your poor neighbor can't speak English or doesn't want to speak it to you, it doesn't mean it is the same with all Finns

I can't see why they wouldn't want to learn any English but that's their choice. Just like we aren't required to learn Finnish here. Maybe they just don't want to learn English. It's really a matter of choice. I doubt whether there are people in Finland that tell students to not learn English. Strictly a matter of choice. But they will need to learn some rudimentary English skills to get along in The U.K. Or the U.S. , don't you think?
