Its national e.r nurses day , national bring your teddy bear to work day. And my favorite national gumbo day. So what's your favorite??

I've never had gumbo or a teddy bear that I can remember. I'd try gumbo if I had the chance. But I'd like to thank Angela and all of the other nurses out there for doing what they do and being there when needed.

I applaud all of the ER nurses today.

Although I am not an ER nurse, Kudos to all nurses out there!

I give ER nurses my utmost respect. That is NOT a job for me and I respect their compassion and patience. Maybe we should make a big pot of gumbo for them? Oooooh. Now I want gumbo. (going through the list of ingredients in my head....)Tomorrow will be gumbo day in my house.

The ER nurses deserve all the credit today ! Nurses work hard and deserve anything nice we can say to them !

With all appreciation to the E.R. nurses, today I will pick the national gumbo... In honour of my lifelong friend Gonga, now deceased, a Louisiana soul brother who made the best gumbo you ever thought possible. I picked this photo because it has okra...looks a lot like his...a huge pot, the whole neighborhood would come around!
