Ahh I wish I could tell you a great one. But, I never had one.
Probably Casper, if I can remember that long ago.
This vintage costume box is not too politically correct at this time.
5 Rolls of bandage and I was a mummy.
Lol! Oh man! Mine was when I dressed up as Paula Abdul! I loved her songs "cold hearted snake" "opposites attract" and "straight up." That was the first year I realized...... The importance of my parents saying "wear comfortable shoes!" Lol! And here I thought they were just trying to be mean! 😅
When I was 11 years old, I say these really cool Foam/Latex masks. Then came with makeup paint and spirit gum. You took out the mask which was all white, and cut out the eyes, and put relief cuts in the mask so it would move with your face, then you put it on the plastic case, and painted it. That year I bought a Skull, Ape, and a Werewolf. I painted all of them, and had a dark cloak with hood, and a Theater sword I had bought from a yard sale that summer before.
I let my friends wear the other masks, and we spent hours out going from house to house, and having the time of our lives.
Here is all the Foam/Latex masks that were out from the 80's to now

When I was seven. It was my Shahrazad costume that I had previously worn to the Indio Date Festival. It was so colorful and fun with a bright pink veil.
