On account of being small I think I could pass for younger, so maybe I could get away with trick-or-treating still, but I think I'm going to go to a party instead :) I think if an older kid is going to go trick-or-treating, they at least better go all out and make a big effort. I've seen teenagers walk around with no costume and a pillowcase to hold candy....like no way would I give someone like that anything lol
I'm 17 and I'm to big for a costume so im only wearing a mask so when trick or treating will they still give candy. (Just making sure don't want to spoil my Halloween and wait next year). Thx?
Zack, Tell us you’re kidding.
You’re 17, AND trick-or-treating? AND you plan to again next year? Really? Wonder why costumes don’t fit anymore?
Personally, I hope you reconsider, maybe to re-evaluate the maturity of this idea.
Hey when i was 18 i dressed in drag complete with panty hose and went trick or treating then hit a club back when the drinking laws were 18 and above . Hey have fun
I always hesitate when I see an older kid coming to my door on Halloween. Most times I don't answer.
My oldest still goes trick or treating...... But then again she has a tail of sisters and a brother with her. Most people think she's just the cool hip parent. Lol!
My rule of thumb when handing out candy ... The older you are (or look), the better I expect your costume to be. Little kids can get away with cheap costumes ... But at 17, I would expect you to have spent at least a couple hours getting your costume and makeup ready.
And if they get PO'd and try to "trick" ... There's a 410 shotgun with rocksalt waiting.
Next Year?
At 18 you are an adult . . . You should be buying candy or at least helping to hand it out . . .
Please don't tell me you have just completed your letter to Santa Clause, because that would kick off a whole other discussion . . .
