I always have the radio on. Mostly listening to music at work and at home. I like hearing the local news too.

It’s a good day! I like listening to the radio, and anything with the word chocolate in it, I’m all in!  😀😀😀

Well once again I’m sitting under my tree!

August is not being good to me lately.

I love old-time radio programs.  I have a large collection on cassette tapes and cd's and listen to one of them every night before I go to sleep.

Never had chocolate pecan pie, but I'm pretty sure I would love it!

Finally!!!!! Finally a real question! I didnt know if I would make it out of spamville! THANK YOU ANCIENT ONE!!! THANK Y O U!!!!!!!

What was the question again? Oh yah!

Can it be a CB radio and regular pecan pie??? I met my Yang on the CB radio many moons ago. Lol! And pecan pie... Never mind. 😢 I don't want the pie. 😭 That was the pie I was gonna celebrate with before my baby lost her baby! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 (sorry my friends. I am missing my oldest a lot the last couple days.) How on earth do you all make it through adult children leaving the nest!

Oh they comeback. Sometimes with babies; sometimes with a broken heart and sometimes with a broken life. They always need to know they can come back and be accepted regardless with love and understanding and help.

@Ancient it does sound good.
@Toni That's good to know I'll have to ask her for that recipe.
@Janis I have had Chocolate Macadamia Nut pie from Hawaii. If the Pecan version is any indicator, I will be all over that.

Did I ever mention I love pie?

I also listen to old time radio programs on the radio all the time, as well as the news. It is extremely difficult to find unbiased news.

I remember Didge/Dodgey making a comment about that, I noted he said to go foreign. He said you'd be surprised at how the rest of the world was reporting the US news. I haven't tried it yet.

Didge was right. Listening to foreign news or just reading the English newspapers from foreign countries sort of gives us a mirror to look at. I find most of it very untrue. We do not have cowboys robbing people on trains, do we?

LOL...not lately. Sort of like how we in L. A. have gang members around every corner. Interestingly I got that stereotype from people from the U. S. Begs the question is it even possible to get unbiased news reporting?
