The only thing about Christmas that gets me down is that it's crammed down my throat right after Halloween commercials, movies, Christmas music........ Bah humbug!!!!!!
No matter how much you try to avoid it before you know it it'll be Christmas. Does the holidays get you down?

By the time Christmas has arrived, I am heartily sick of the repeated use of the same Christmas songs in every shop and public place. I hate the rudeness of other shoppers in crammed shops and stores. I hate the exhortations to excess in all things connected. I hate the fact that we in the West overindulge when much of Africa is starving. I hate the whole thing. I looked forward to Christmas as a child, when we had a few days of simple decorations and very welcome gifts. It now gets more gross every year.
January 21 st following Christmas is more depressing. That's when Visa and Mastercard statements come rolling in.
I'm setting hralthy limits on spending so that doesn't happen to me.
