Interesting fact:    Etan Patz was one of the first "missing children", on a milk carton and perhaps the most famous of them, to be sought with this strategy. In 1979, when the six-year-old boy went missing on the way to the school bus in Manhattan, there had been no system in the United States for tracking missing children nationwide.

It was the first day that little etans mother allowed him to walk to the bus stop by himself, just two blocks away , he never made it to the bus.
