For me it is a day of mixed emotions. I have always loved Thanksgiving a day of remembrance and family.  This year, after so many years I realized and learned of the Day of Mourning. That made my heart sink. My family has had several Turkey Free Thanksgiving, my favorite has always been roast pork, Puerto Rican / Cuban style.

So to all I say, as my coffee cup says, "GOOD MORNING, LET THE STRESS BEGIN". LOL

I wonder how French toast snuck in there on Thanksgiving ? That's OK though, I like French toast. I'm in.

Sorry but the Turkey-free Thanksgiving isn't going to work for me. At least not this year.

Happy Thanksgiving A-1.  And Happy Thanksgiving to all my other Blurtit friends.

All the best to the Blurtit community on Thanksgiving Day.

Let us not discount the significance of the Day of Mourning, either.

Happy Thanksgiving! I went home for Thanksgiving yesterday. Ours is always big. You have my parents, me, my three sisters, two of their husbands and kids, as well as grandparents. Ours won't be turkey-free though, we bought a huge one the other day :D
