I think it does....say now a person has no money,no food, no shelter...etc...they could be so desperate that they could steal to get money...to buy food etc

I don't think that poverty leads to crime because the amount of money you have has nothing to do with the way you choose to act and how you treat others.. Personally I have grown up all my life with having just enough to get what we need and sometimes not even having that.. I have been homeless and I have never committed a crime and neither has my brother or my sister.. It depends on the persona and how they deal with the things that have happened to them and how they express the anger they have inside.. Some people decide to break things, hit people, vandalize anyway they can just because they have all that built up frustration from living in poverty... Other people choose to exert that anger and pain in a healthier way like sports or art.... It all depends on the person.. But bottom line... Poverty does not lead to crime

It can; if your hungry and don't have any food to eat, some people will steal for there food just to get by. It can lead to trust passing if there homeless! But if they have some family to lean on, they won't have to resort to crime.
