Hopi is a tribe of American Indian People. This tribe is settled in an area called Hopi reservation in Northeast Arizona. There are a number of interesting facts about this tribe such as:
- The area in which they live is only 12,635 square kilometer and their population is 6946 persons only.
- Hopi tribe is not actually a tribe, they are actually people who represent tribes from different far off areas.
- The name Hopi translates to Peaceful little ones.
- They have no particular religion, in fact they follow an anti-war religion.
- When a Hopi man marries, his children belong to his wife's clan.
- A child might have as much as forty names given by different women of his paternal clan.
- Most of Hopi people produce high quality artifacts.
