Segregation generally happens between men of different caste, colour and race. It is generally called as racial segregation. In today's world racial segregation is an offence and one can be sued for practicing racial segregation. This used to happen during the 18th and the early 19th century in countries like Africa, Untied States of America and United Kingdom. This kind of racism used to happen in daily life where there were separate theatres for the white, there were separate restaurants for the white who did not allow the blacks to be a part of it or socialize at that place. Segregation went up to such a level that even churches, schools; hospitals were separate from the whites.
Racial segregation was practiced often in South of Africa. The whites were given the best facilities compared to the blacks. But this practice finally came to an end in the year 1989.This happened before the political parties could be wiped out in the year 1990.President F.W. de Klerk played a lead role in dissolving this racial segregation on 16th November 1989 under the act no 49.
