Probability = No. Of favorable ways / Total ways

where ,

  Total ways  =  no. Of favorable ways + no. Of non-favorable  ways

  Since,          odd no. + odd no. = even no.

                  even no. + even no. = even no.

true.

2 Line equations will have a unique solution if and only if they intersect each other at a particular point ( x, y ). If Lines are parallel, then they'll never intersect and hence we can not find any solution.

if we consider two parallel Lines of equations,say-

2x + 3y = 7 ,  2x + … Read more

y-axis means x=0   (always)

x-axis means y=0   (always)

when line intersect y axis, then x = 0

5x + 3y =15

0 + 3y =15  ( x = 0)

3y= 15

y = 5

hence   point  (x,y) = (0,5)   b is correct

if you don't remember the formula

you can also solve like this-

let eqn is            y= mx+c    (which passes through  (4,-1) and (-2,3) )

First (4,-1) should satisfy this equation,
