What Do The Shawnee Indians Eat?

Shawnee Indians are the tribes from the North America which used to live in Ohio, Western Maryland, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Like all Indian tribes they lived on farming. They mainly planted corn and squash. The male members used to fish in the rivers and also hunted for animals such as Deer and Turkey etc. Their food mostly consisted of stews, cornbread and soup.

They eat elk,deer,turkey,rabbit,bear,and fish. Shawnee also planted vegtables commonly squash and corn. They mainly eat stews,cornbread and soup.

The shawnee indians hunted for deer, turkey, rabbits, bears, elks, and harpooned fish with spears. They ate everything that they hunted because the French and British were on their hunting grounds making it hard to hunt.
