They utilize those profits to mitigate poverty. As a result, gaming revenues have helped create jobs, public schools, and tax revenues for local government. In essence, NIGA has been very successful in advancing the lives of Indian people socially, economically and politically. One of the greatest things is that Indians do not have to pay income taxes on Indian-owned land.
