I have NEVER heard of anyone in America hating the Czech. Lol Although many Americans are embarrassed by other Americans' behaviour while overseas (and at home). Take comfort, the Czechs are a very loved and well respected group... And an honest American will give you extra "coolness" points for any accent you might have, they will automatically assume that you're better educated, speak many languages and look down on them : >
I don't hate Czech people anymore than I hate the French.Only kidding as far as I know the Czechs are not singled out for hate providing they are hard working and do not scrounge off of my government for handouts.
I have the worst neighbours in the world, they are Czech. They drink, smoke weed and listen to horrible music far far too much. They've acted threatening towards me and my flatmates and their language is horrible to listen too (but that might be because they scream at the top of their voice all the time!) My perception of Czech people has been strongly coloured by my experience with my neighbours. Maybe you should look at what kind of people leave the Czech republic to work outside to get a good picture of what sort of Czechs we experience.
I am Czech-American and I love Czech. If anybody hates a certain heritage/ethnicity it is because they are ignorant and afraid of who they are and where they come from. I come from south Texas in a big Czech population and one day I plan to visit Czech Republic and Slovakia (where my family comes from). Czech rules!
Czech people are racists and hateful, they are sadists that like to humiliate others, for some reason they like to yell or shout at others, make you faces if you ask them to repeat something, they don't take baths nor showers, they like to be smelly, and on top of that they think they are more civilized and their society is better than in other countries. They have no education, politeness whatsoever, the most monkey-like primitive people in matters of gossiping, looking, staring, and trying to listen to whatever doesn't concern them. It is true that people may say that experiences with some individuals shouldn't make you stereotype a whole ethnicity, race, or group. But when you have been step over with 6 in heels so many times on you face and guts, you don't care anymore about whoever has to do with that group. Which means that by experience I decided for myself that certain group is waste product, but it shouldn't matter because my opinion is one drop of water in the ocean, but someone asked here, so why not say it.
Seriously, fuck those filthy Czechs. Especially the ones in the U.S. This Czech family moved in to the house next door. One day they asked me why their apartment comes with "two grape washers". Puzzled by the question (in broken English) I investigated. They brought me into their apartment and led me to the toilet! They asked why the "grape-washers" are in the bathroom. I didn't LOL in front of them but later I did wonder what they used when they actually had to use the bathroom. True story.
