WOW! Now this forces me to self disclosure. I have been trying to protect my identity and privacy on this site for quite a while, but I will share this with everyone, in fairness to the US government, and in the hope that many of you, who have been born in US would take a second look at our country and appreciate the blessings that we do have.
I came to US as a refugee from one of the former communist countries, where I was denied the right to believe in God and to practice my biblical faith. At a time when the government of my homeland has rejected me, the US government has accepted me. At a time of the government of my homeland has abused my basic human rights, and killed my husband, and took away everything that I have worked SO hard to accomplish, including my job and my house (as well as my family), the US government gas given me, not only the freedom to practice my beliefs, but also the privilege and opportunity to start all over, and maximize my potential by building a new and fulfilling life.
While no government is perfect, and I am aware of many areas where our government could reconsider its values, principles and practice, I would not change the government of USA for any government in the world - except for God's government, of course, which is the only infallible Government in the Universe.
Now, to align my answer to the subject of this question, I would like to say that, specifically, no particular "government figure" has enhanced any aspect of my life, in isolation. However, as a system, the US government has had an immense contribution in enhancing my life and destiny. To God be the glory for it all!
