I bought my cousin a sports team shirt customized with his name on the back. (This was the present I was the most excited about giving.) I also want to get one for myself, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Someday, but not today.
What Gift Did You Give This Christmas, That You Thought About Getting Or Actually Did Buy For Yourself?
I picked up two pillar candle holders for 75% off when I got the same ones for my sisters. I got digital pic frames for my children which hold something like 4000 images; I think those things are the GREATEST-- and they can download pics from memory stick, PC or digital camera and have whatever they want so they can have friends or snowboarding pics or family or whatever near them as they want. I think those frames are the neatest thing since sliced bread...
For my step-daughter in Phoenix I bought an antique little statue of the Virgin of Guadelupe. I bought a smaller version for myself. These were made in Mexico but are quite old. I LOVE mine. I have a little area in my bedroom that is sort of like an altar where I have my religious icons and my candles.
One of the gifts I got for my sister is one of those red dazzle scarfs. Since they come in so many colors, I think I will also buy a couple for myself; a red one and a black one.
